November 13, 2023 from 12:30 pm 1:15 pm PST

Supported By: Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Please join expert rheumatologist Elizabeth Volkmann, MD and expert pulmonologist Chidinma Chima-Melton, MD, MBA as they speak with Dale S., a patient diagnosed with myositis-associated interstitial lung disease (ILD). Dale will discuss the symptoms that prompted her to see a doctor, the hurdles she had to overcome before being referred to a specialist, and how her diagnosis was finally confirmed.

Dale and the experts will discuss how recognizing the symptoms early and seeking medical attention promptly can improve outcomes for patients. The presentation will highlight the importance of collaborative care between pulmonologists and rheumatologists in diagnosing and co-managing patients with autoimmune-associated ILDs. Dale’s journey to diagnosis and the candid discussion with the experts will provide valuable insights into the challenges that patients with ILD face and the importance of working together to optimize patient care.
