The Ropes a Dopes from Massachusetts General Hospital are the 2017 Knowledge Bowl champions.
The team of April Jorge, MD; Eli Miloslavsky, MD; and Mazen Nasrallah, MD, defeated No Rheumorse “Immunocytes” and Smalbany in Monday’s three-team final.
In addition to having team members’ names added to the traveling Knowledge Bowl trophy, the Ropes a Dopes earned complimentary registration and hotel accommodations for the 2018 ACR/ARHP Annual Meeting in Chicago and the chance to defend their title. The team also received gold medals and tickets to the 2018 Presidents’ Reception.
Other participating teams were Achy Breaky Joints, Ann Arbor JAK’s Of All Trades, Gout Busters, Joint Service, Henchmen, The Monogenic Mutants, Tequila Shooters, Joint Effort, The Arthroholics, Rheum for a Cure, Rheuminators, The Hot Joints, and UConn Huskies.
