The ACR/ARP Annual Meeting has many great opportunities to network with colleagues and others in the rheumatology field. Here are some of the best ways to connect during the Annual Meeting.

1. Opening Reception

Saturday, November 9, 6:30 – 8:00 PM

Come celebrate the kickoff to the 2019 ACR/ARP Annual Meeting. Connect with your colleagues while enjoying a live string orchestra, food, and friendly conversations. The Opening Reception is complimentary to all registered Annual Meeting attendees.

2. ARP Networking Events

Sunday, November 10-Monday, November 11, 12:30 – 2:15 PM

Join your colleagues for an open discussion on various research, practice, and clinical topics. Sunday is ARP Diverse Discipline Day: Networking for the Interprofessional Team. On Monday, participate in ARP Monday Meet Up: Networking for the Interprofessional Team. All ARP attendees are welcome to participate in this event.

3. #ACR19 Tweet Up

Sunday, November 10, 2:30 – 4:00 PM

The #ACR19 Tweet Up is an informal event without an agenda organized by ACR members. It is an opportunity for members who engage on Twitter to meet face to face. All Annual Meeting attendees are welcome to participate. The Tweet Up is also designed to facilitate personal connections within the international rheumatology community.

 4. ACR Study Groups

6. Poster Tours

Network with attendees and abstract authors during the ACR/ARP Annual Meeting Poster Tours. The Poster Tours are a great way to find colleagues with similar research or clinical interests.

7. ACR Career Fair

The annual ACR Career Fair is the chance for employers to recruit qualified rheumatology candidates and job seekers to find a new career opportunity. You can also visit the ACR Career Development booth in the new ACR Hub to learn about CareerConnection and post your resume as a job seeker or available positions/recruitment materials as an employer.
