The ACR/ARP Annual Meeting has many great opportunities to network with colleagues and others in the rheumatology field. Here are some of the best ways to connect during the Annual Meeting.

1. Opening Reception

Come celebrate the kickoff to the 2019 ACR/ARP Annual Meeting. Connect with your colleagues while enjoying a live string orchestra, food, and friendly conversations. The Opening Reception is complimentary to all registered Annual Meeting attendees.

2. ARP Networking Events

Sunday, November 10-Monday, November 11, 12:30 – 2:15 PM

Join your colleagues for an open discussion on various research, practice, and clinical topics. Sunday is ARP Diverse Discipline Day: Networking for the Interprofessional Team. On Monday, participate in ARP Monday Meet Up: Networking for the Interprofessional Team. All ARP attendees are welcome to participate in this event.

3. #ACR19 Tweet Up

Sunday, November 10, 2:30 – 4:00 PM

The #ACR19 Tweet Up is an informal event without an agenda organized by ACR members. It is an opportunity for members who engage on Twitter to meet face to face. All Annual Meeting attendees are welcome to participate. The Tweet Up is also designed to facilitate personal connections within the international rheumatology community.

 4. ACR Study Groups

Sunday, November 10-Tuesday, November 12, 1:00 – 2:00 PM

Take advantage of these unique social forums, designed to bring together small groups of attendees with common interest in a single disease, group of related disorders, or specialized study.

5. Exhibit Hall

Sunday, November 10-Tuesday, November 12

Expand your meeting experience in the ACR Exhibit Hall. The all-new ACR Hub in the Exhibit Hall is a can’t-miss destination for anyone attending the ACR/ARP Annual Meeting. Visit more than 150 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services in rheumatology. Opens at 10 AM each day.

6. Poster Tours

Sunday, November 10-Tuesday, November 12, 9:00-11 AM

Network with attendees and abstract authors during the ACR/ARP Annual Meeting Poster Tours. The Poster Tours are a great way to find colleagues with similar research or clinical interests.

7. ACR Career Fair

Monday, November 11, 6:00 – 8:00 PM

The annual ACR Career Fair is the chance for employers to recruit qualified rheumatology candidates and job seekers to find a new career opportunity.
