Session Overview: After a very successful first year of MIPS submissions for all RISE users, on Sunday morning the College will be helping RISE users prepare for their 2018 submissions. The RISE Prospective & Current User meeting will take place from 7:30– 9:30 am in the Geography Room of the Marriott Marquis
Breakfast will be available from 7:30 – 8:30 am. The 30-minute prospective users talk starts at 8:00 am, with an additional update for current RISE users from 8:30 – 9:30 am. This session will allow prospective users to see how their practice can benefit from RISE and hear experiences and best practices from current users.
Sunday’s session will help participants:
- Explain what pathways are available to practicing physicians.
- Summarize how practitioners will be scored under MIPS.
- Discuss general and rheumatology-specific measures.
- Describe where to go for tools and best practices that can help physicians achieve maximum payments, including use of the RISE registry and ACR quality measures.
