Poster Title: High Levels of Fatigue and Poor Sleep Quality in Behçet’s Disease: A Cross-Sectional Study from a Non-Endemic Area

Poster Session C: 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28

What is your poster about?

“The main purpose of my poster is to assess fatigue and sleep disorders in patients with Behçet’s disease living in a non-endemic area, and to analyze how these symptoms correlate with sociodemographic characteristics.”

Why did you decide to investigate this topic?

“There is limited data on this topic in the literature. Most studies are conducted in regions where Behçet’s disease is endemic, while there is a lack of information and research in non-endemic areas.”

What are you working on next related to this research?

“Our next steps involve comparing these findings with healthy controls and exploring the clinical impact, such as the relationship between disease activity and levels of fatigue. In the near future, we look forward to evaluating neuroimaging aspects in patients with Behçet’s disease and fatigue.”

What excites you most about your work?

“What excites me most is contributing to the advancement of clinical research on Behçet’s disease in our country. The opportunity to explore important, yet unanswered questions in the literature is particularly motivating.”

What are you most looking forward to at ACR Convergence 2025 in Chicago?

“I am very excited to attend ACR Convergence 2025 in Chicago, as it will be an excellent opportunity to deepen my knowledge of rheumatology and engage with leading experts in the field.”
