The Neutrophil NETs won this year’s Knowledge Bowl on Monday.
The team of Jean W. Liew, MD, and Joanna Marco, MD, along with consultant Grant Hughes, MD, from the University of Washington held off the Elbow-Knee team from Albany Medical Center and Joint Service Joint Service from Walter Reed National Medical Military Center.
Always a highlight of the Annual Meeting, the Knowledge Bowl combines education and entertainment, in the style of Jeopardy! This year, Neutrophil NETs held a slim lead heading into the final question and were the only team to answer the final question correctly.
The winning team gets their names will be added to the traveling Knowledge Bowl trophy, and earns complimentary registration and hotel accommodations for the 2020 ACR/ARP Annual Meeting along with the chance to defend their title. Neutrophil NETs also receive gold medals and tickets to the 2020 President’s Reception.
